Remembrance Day
Our school gathered on the playground for a special Remembrance Day service, creating a meaningful moment of reflection and respect. Students stood quietly, listening to the gentle notes of Mrs Pelling on the clarinet as she played The Last Post. The playground, normally filled with laughter and play, was transformed into a place of tribute to honour those who have served and sacrificed. Each class laid a handmade poppy wreath around a central memorial and Fr Gabriel and then year 6 children, led us in prayer. As the clock struck eleven, everyone joined in a minute's silence, remembering and paying respects to the courage and sacrifices of the past and present.
