Rock Steady

SJB has begun an exciting musical journey this term and joined the Rocksteady music programme. All children had an awesome and inspiring music assembly from the Rocksteady musicians and heard some excellent live pop and rock music being played! As part of the programme, pupils from Reception to Year 6 now have the opportunity to learn how to play different instruments such as drum kit, electric guitars, bass guitars and keyboard and use these new skills to play together as part of a rock band. Our brilliant Rocksteady teacher Dan has already been very impressed with the first few sessions and is excited to see what wonderful music our pupils can create. We have 5 new exciting bands that have been formed across the school, and we are looking forward to their first concerts soon!
