The Big Write
Every half term we are taking part in a Big Write. This involves KS1 and KS2 reading the same book as a school and then doing writing activities around this all day.
This time we looked at the book by Anthony Browne - The Tunnel.
We did lots of writing on characters and our own versions of what might be on the other side of the tunnel.
"It was fantastic to walk round to see children’s work and everyone was so impressed with the amazing, imaginative writing that they had produced. It was also brilliant to hear that children didn’t want to stop their writing even to go out at playtime!"
