SCHOOL UNIFORM
SJB is a uniform school. The wearing of a uniform, we believe, helps to develop a sense of community and belonging.
We ask you to support us with this and to encourage your child to take pride in wearing their uniform and looking after it.
- Children in reception class do not need a rucksack, just a book bag.
- Trousers, shirts, dresses etc. can be bought from any high street shop.
- Please make sure that all items of clothing are labelled, including ties and PE kits.
- Children often find it difficult to keep track of their belongings; therefore it is essential to have every item labelled with your child’s name.
Uniform
Grey trousers (not combat or tracksuit type)
Grey skirt pleated or A line skirt/ pinafore
Navy blue school jumper or cardigan, with logo
White shirt - short or long sleeves
School tie
Grey, navy or black socks or tights
Black shoes (these can be plain, trainer type shoes without logos / stripes)
Summer Term: blue polo shirt.
Summer dress: blue / white check

Buying School Uniform
There is also a selection of jackets, fleece, rucksacks, bags etc available on the uniform website; purchase of these items is optional for parents.
