Sports
Sport is a vital part of our school community, playing a central role in children’s physical and social development. Through regular sporting activities both curricular and extra-curricular, children build resilience, teamwork skills, and self-confidence as they learn to set goals, face challenges, and support each other. Sport also promotes a healthy lifestyle, encouraging physical fitness, discipline, and mental well-being. By participating in various team sports and individual challenges, students can discover their strengths and develop lifelong habits that benefit both their bodies and minds. Our commitment to sport reflects our belief in nurturing well-rounded students who value collaboration, perseverance, and a positive attitude towards healthy competition.
We have girls and boys' football teams, netball, cricket, tag rugby, swimming, cross-country, golf and athletics teams who represent the school in festivals and competitions across the year.

Brighton and Hove Tag Rugby Festival
Some of our year 5 and year 6 girls went to the Brighton and Hove tag rugby festival last week.
This was to celebrate the Womens’ Rugby World Cup coming to England in 2025 with some matches being played here in Brighton! Our girls had a great time and put up a great display of skill and teamwork.
